How to Register

  • Below, at "Select a Training Session," you can select the specific type of training, date and time. When a session is filled, the status will read full. You will need to select a different session.


  • Upon submission of your registration, you will receive an e-mail indicating that your submission was received. In about a week, you will receive an e-mail stating that you have been accepted and the procedures used to provide you with lesson materials and a technology loan kit.


  • Once you have registered for teacher training, you must register your class for a student lesson.

    Teacher Training - Spooktacular
    If it creeps, crawls or goes bump in the night we are more than likely to include it in our Spooktacular! celebration. Join us via the Web for an hour lesson that links 3rd grade classes in Central Virginia. We will fill that hour with SOL-based hands-on activities that capture your students' imagination. From pumpkins to spiders and bats to skeletons, we will focus on scientific investigation, life processes and life cycles, relationships between living and non-living things, problem-solving and math skills. A class that creeps and crawls, and in the end, grows on you!
    Standards of Learning: Science 2003 & 2010 (3.1, 3.4, 3.5) and 2009 Math (3.9, 3.11, 3.19)
